New Jersey Devils acquire linebacker Etienne Morintwo conditional first-round picks and the Calgary Flames’ 2026 second-round pick in exchange for the defenseman Simon Nemec and forward Maxim Tsiprakov.
The 21-year-old Morin played 42 games with the AHL Calgary Wranglers as a rookie in the 2025-26 season, contributing 1 goal and 6 assists.
Morin, a native of Salabery-de-Valleyfield, Que., was drafted by the Flames in the second round of the 2023 NHL Draft. He played junior hockey with Moncton, winning the QMJHL championship in the 2024-25 season.
