Andrew Campbell Signed a three-year contract to remain head coach of the AHL’s Belleville Senators.
Campbell joined the Senators as an assistant coach during the 2024-25 season and was promoted to interim head coach on December 17, 2025. He led Belleville to a record of 17 wins, 21 draws, 5 losses and 1 in 44 games.
The Caledonian, Ont., native previously spent three seasons as an assistant with the Hamilton/Brantford Bulldogs of the Ontario Hockey League and worked with the current Belleville general manager Matt TurekOttawa General Manager Steve Staos and senator owner Michael Andlauerand win the OHL championship in 2022.
Campbell, 38, has spent the majority of his 11-year career in the AHL, appearing in 719 games with the Manchester Monarchs (2008-14), Portland Pirates (2014-15), Toronto Marlies (2015-17), Tucson Roadrunners (2017-18) and Rockford IceHogs (2018-19). The guard totaled 36 goals, 113 assists, 149 points, a +92 rating and served as a captain for a total of four seasons with the Monarchs, Marlies and Roadrunners. In 2019, he was selected as captain of the West Team for the AHL All-Star Classic.
Campbell, who was drafted by Los Angeles in the third round of the 2008 NHL Draft, also had two assists in 42 NHL games with the Kings, Arizona Coyotes and Toronto Maple Leafs.
