Canucks name Sealy assistant general manager TheAHL.com

Vancouver Canucks named Richard Seeley General manager of the AHL’s Abbotsford Canucks and assistant general manager of Vancouver.

Seeley served as the general manager of the AHL’s Ontario Reign for the past eight seasons, culminating in the Pacific Division championship in the 2025-26 season with a franchise-best record of 47 wins, 20 draws, 3 draws and 2 losses.

Seeley previously served as the head coach and director of hockey operations for the Los Angeles Kings’ Manchester ECHL affiliate, which reached the playoffs three consecutive years.

Originally drafted by the Kings in 1997, Seeley played 399 games in the AHL with Lowell, Manchester, Bridgeport and Norfolk.
