Tesla's Auto Show in Canada Boots

According to several reports from Canadian news media, the Vancouver International Auto Show has banned Tesla from holding safety issues due to safety concerns. Tesla's dealerships and charging stations have been shot by guns and cars, which appears to be a response to Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his ongoing damage to the U.S. federal government.

The show will be held from March 19 to 23, and executive director Eric Nicholl said it's all about safety unless Tesla is attending the event.

“The main focus of the Vancouver Auto Show is the safety of attendees, exhibitors and staff,” Nicole said. “The decision will ensure that all attendees can focus on the many positive elements of enjoying the event.”

Tesla reportedly had the opportunity to voluntarily withdraw from the Canadian auto show, but refused, according to CNN, prompting organizers to launch the car company. Musk had previously written on X that Canada was “not a real country” and he later deleted a tweet.

The latest attacks on Tesla locations include the “suspicious” Seberli fire in Kansas City on Monday, and vehicles caught fire at Tesla's repair facility in Las Vegas on Tuesday. The term “resistance” was used to spray paint on the Tesla building of the “targeted attack” by the Las Vegas Police Department. Peaceful protests were also organized under the name of Tesla.

Organizers of the Vancouver Auto Show did not mention President Donald Trump's threat to Canada's invasion in recent months, but there is no doubt that this is part of the reason Tesla has also been launched. Trump has greatly subverted the world's geopolitical alliance, threatening traditional allies like Canada and working in authoritarian regimes such as Vladimir Putin in Russia.

Trump said he wanted Canada to be the 51st state, a joke many mainstream commentators think it was a joke shortly after the 2024 election. But it is becoming clear that Trump is not kidding because he also poses a threat to Panama and Greenland, a territory of Denmark.

According to the New York Times, the attack on Tesla dealership prompted Musk to complain that people were chasing him for no reason, which is a particularly strange claim, as the New York Times estimates that cuts such as the United States Agency for International Development would kill millions of people around the world in the first year.

Musk played a role in illegally destroying the United States Agency for International Development, but the billionaire oligarch appeared on Fox News on Tuesday and claimed that people wanted to kill him, even though he “never did anything horrible.”

“I just did something productive,” Musk claimed on the show by Sean Hannity. “So, I think we’re just weird, something mentally ill happened here because it doesn’t make any sense.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi called for attacks on domestic terrorism in Tesla and said he would be prosecuted.

“The violent attack on Tesla's property is nothing more than family terrorism,” Bondy said in a statement Tuesday. “The Justice Department has charged several perpetrators, including in cases involving a five-year mandatory minimum sentence charge. We will continue to investigate with serious consequences for those involved in these attacks, including those who coordinate and fund these crimes behind the scenes.”

Fox News also stood out to defend Musk and Tesla's multiple different angles, including invoking the number of people employed by Tesla. Tim Walz, the former vice presidential candidate in 2024, has caused a lot of anger on his video of talking about Tesla this week. Fox said Waltz did not consider the number of jobs Tesla created, which obviously should justify the coup that took place by Musk and his moral relatives.

Tesla did not respond to emails about the auto show on Wednesday. If we hear back, Gizmodo will update this post.
