Luka Doncic's former teammate vouches for his work ethics

The Mavericks lost due to his conditions after dragging Luka Doncic to the Lakers, but his former teammates have since spoken.
NBA veteran Seth Curry played with Doncic in two separate games for the Mavericks and claimed he had never seen the Slovenian Stars issue.
“From my point of view, you know what you’re going to get from Luca,” Curry said, through Sports News. “Practice, game, when the ball goes up, you know he'll show up and be ready to play when he's healthy. I really don't see any problems.”
He added: “He is a great competitor. He works as hard as anyone when the player is ready to play when he practices shooting and the ball goes up. One of the best competitors I have ever played.”
Josh Green spent four seasons in Dallas and thought the Mavericks had a little more to play in “bad conditions”.
“At the end of the day, he played in the World Cup, he played in back-to-back games. You have to stay in a pretty good shape to make it work,” Green told Sports News.
Luka was impressed with the growth and maturity of his period with him.
“I think it’s very impressive to have a 24-year-old be able to bring a team to the finals,” Greene. “He's a huge leap in being a leader over the past two years. The guys have really followed that.”
Former Luca Mavericks executive Haralabos Voulgaris is confused by the franchise's move to question Doncic's work ethics.
“The idea is that he's not a hardworking guy, I mean what do you think? This guy rolls out of the bed and becomes the greatest offensive player outside of Nikola Jokic? That's offensive. He's not born,” Wolgaris said. Stupid area.
“He worked very hard. He worked on craft. He developed mid-range games. He developed all kinds of step sizes. When he joined the league, it wasn't very good. He developed the ability to play with Kyrie and before he always dominated the ball.”
