Payton Pritchard & Derrick White speaks on their historic night

Payton Pritchard and Derrick White combined to 19 3-pointers in the team's 128-118 win over the Trail Blazers, the best one teammates can do in a match that has ever done.

This is also the first time in history that scored more than 40 points in a game, and the duo both ended with career highs and three-pointers.

Pritchard scored 43 points on three-point shooting percentage, while White scored 41 points on three-point shooting and 41 points on three-point shooting, which they were very happy about.

“It’s incredible,” Pritchard said. “It's amazing to watch because some of the shots (white) are also incredible and he doesn't touch any edges, just straight water. So it's absolutely fun to go there with him and do on a special night like this.”

White is as cheerful as his teammate Prichard, but make sure not to get out of the mission at hand – winning another chip.

“Tonight was fun, but like, we know what the bigger picture is, we know what we are working on for and what we are working on.”

“So, I mean, it's not about me, it's never about me. So whatever the team needs, I have to do that night, just help us win the game.”

Since Jayson Tatum (right shoulder impact), Kristaps Porzingis (disease) and Jrue Holiday (right hammer finger), the duo has put the team on their backs and their coach, Joe Mazzulla, cannot be proud.

“They are huge,” Mazula said. “I think playing with them and playing against a really good Portland team, we know we need to get the guys to step up.

“The way these two guys play only shows who they are. When we're completely healthy, they do a lot of dirty things. They do a lot of things for the team and have a night like this, and those two people can show that they're very capable of us. So we're lucky to have them and it's fun to see them do it.”
