Zelenskyy accepted by British Prime Minister and will meet King Charles

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer accepted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday and told him he received unwavering support from the United States the day after the blowout with President Donald Trump at the White House.

Zelenskyy arrived at the support of people gathered outside of 10 Downing St., and Starmer gave him a hug and brought him inside.

“As you hear from the cheers on the streets outside, you have full support all over the UK,” Starmer told the leaders of the war-torn country. “We stand with you with Ukraine for as long as possible.”

Trump-Zelenskyy quarrel makes the U.S.-Ukraine's future of key minerals trade in danger

The story continues with the following ad

Zelenskyy is ready for a deal to give the United States a chance to gain mineral wealth as Trump pressures Ukraine to reach a deal to end the war with Russia. But he left town without signing anything.

Zelenskyy plans to meet Starmer on Sunday before holding a summit with other European leaders to discuss Ukraine and defend across the continent.

But the timeline for their bilateral meetings has obviously accelerated after the Washington visit.

Zelenskyy will meet King Charles III at a summit on Sunday at a 200-year-old mansion near Buckingham Palace.
