Red Wings sign top goalie Trey Augustin, sending him to Grand Rapids
Trey Augustin is set to join the American Hockey League. The Detroit Red Wings have signed their promising goalie prospect after a stellar three-year career at Michigan State. Augustin’s entry-level contract with the Red Wings doesn’t start until next season, so he signed an ATO with the Grand Rapids Griffins, where he will finish out the 2025-26 season.
