Oilers acquire Levi from Sabers TheAHL.com

Edmonton Oilers acquire goaltender Devon Levy and a 2028 NHL Draft seventh-round pick from the Buffalo Sabers in exchange for a 2028 NHL Draft third-round pick.

In the 2025-26 season, Levi appeared in 52 games with the Rochester Americans of the AHL, leading the league with 3,029 minutes played. He has a record of 23-20-9, a 2.83 goals against average, a 0.904 save percentage, and three shutouts.

In 120 games over three seasons with the Amerks, Levy compiled a 64-39-17 record, a 2.52 GAA, a .914 save percentage and 10 saves. He was selected to the 2025 AHL All-Star Classic.

Levy, who was originally drafted by Florida in the seventh round of the 2020 NHL Draft, compiled a 17-17-2 record with a 3.29 GAA and .894 save percentage in 39 NHL games for the Sabers.
