Marlies draw first blood in final | TheAHL.com

Rosemont, Ill. (theahl.com)… Vinny LettieriA goal with 8:28 left in regulation gave the Toronto Marlies a 4-2 victory over the Chicago Wolves in Game 1 of the Calder Cup finals on Friday night.

Lettieri gathered a loose puck in his own zone, outran four Chicago defenders and fired a shot past the goalie and into the net. Amir Miftakhov (2-1). Toronto broke Chicago’s lead before Lettieri’s goal tied it 2-2. The Marlies have won five consecutive road games and are 8-3 on the road in the playoffs.
