Missing their goalkeeping ace. Facing elimination. Conceded two goals in the first quarter.
The Chicago Wolves faced off against the Colorado Eagles in Game 6 of their best-of-seven Western Conference Finals on Sunday night, and it looked like it was coming to an end.
Chicago has seen how dangerous the Eagles can be and how quickly they can turn a game around. The Eagles took two of three games at Allstate Arena. Game 5 on Friday was especially scary for the Wolves. Colorado drove in three possessions in 2 minutes and 58 seconds, including one shorthanded. The stenographer had a breakout game on 2-on-0. Colorado’s next goal also came on a breakaway.
The ace who scored throughout the Calder Cup playoffs, Kayden Primoand did not start the third quarter of Game 5. on the contrary, Amir MiftakhovHe hasn’t played a minute since April 18.
