Anaheim Ducks acquire center Anton Wahlberg Defenseman selected by the Buffalo Sabers in the second round (45th overall) of the 2026 NHL Draft Oren Zellweger.
The 20-year-old Wahlberg scored 37 points (nine goals, 28 assists) in 68 games with the AHL’s Rochester Americans in the 2025-26 season, his second professional season in North America. He also had three assists in three Calder Cup playoff games.
Wahlberg, who was selected by the Sabers in the second round of the 2023 NHL Draft, has played 140 AHL games with Rochester in his career, scoring 21 goals and 50 assists for 71 points.
