Stephen A. Smith fires back at Donald Trump after ‘low-IQ’ slur

Stephen A. Smith responded to President Donald Trump’s claim that he has a “low IQ” after the Knicks’ Game 3 loss.

It all started with Trump’s postgame interview.

A reporter asked Trump how he would respond. Stephen one. Smith Said he would blame he If the Knicks lose tonight.

He responded: “I think he’s a good guy, but you need a certain talent to run for president. You need a high IQ. I’m not sure Stephen has that. I don’t think he actually does.”

SAS was not happy with these comments from Trump. and went on a more than three-minute rant about it on ESPN.

“I compare my IQ to your IQ every week,” Smith said.

“What better way could I ask why you’ve been avoiding me for the past year since I’ve wanted to talk to you? I could ask you to argue with me because you think you’re that guy – there are a number of ways we can go about it, but I’m not going to let you off the hook.

“I appreciate you calling me a good guy because I was actually a really good guy before you pulled on me. After that, I got to show another side of me.

“Last night, when I realized businesses were being harmed, a different side of me came out because you showed up. The crowds that surrounded Madison Square Garden and the surrounding area, and you compromised. I thought you were doing it for the economy? I thought you were doing it to help New Yorkers?

“Did the New York Knicks benefit? The answer is no. This is a sports show, so I won’t say any more.”

But Smith actually went further.

He warned the president to “stay away” from the rest of the series.

“Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, Karl-Anthony Towns all play better when you’re not out there,” Smith said.

“When you’re not there, the crowd is festive, exciting and even more intimidating. Before you show up, business is booming. Before you show up, the noise echoes off the walls of Madison Square Garden.

“This is what you do. I thought you were from New York? I thought you cared? I thought this was important to you? Obviously, that’s not the case, and you know how we know that? Because you were actually talking about coming back for Game 4.

“Obviously, you need to rest and the New York Knicks need to rest… Give New Yorkers a break and stay in the White House. Do whatever you have to do, but stay away from the New York Knicks for the rest of this series.”
