Kayden Primo The Chicago Wolves made 33 saves to tie the game against the Colorado Eagles 2-1 in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday at Allstate Arena.
The Wolves will play Friday (8 p.m. ET, ), then the series will shift back to Colorado for Game 6 and, if necessary, Game 7.
There was no scoring after half of the game until Bradley Nadeau set up Justin Robidas The shorthanded goal came with 9:08 left in the second period. This is the second time in as many games that the Wolves have been shorthanded.
Nadeau put the wrist over his shoulder with 1:21 left in the third period to make it 2-0. Trent Miner It was his second goal of the series and third of the playoffs.
Eagles breakout with 8:39 left Alex Barre-Bright The shot at the far post netted his fifth goal of the playoffs.
Primo (8-5) completed 17 of 33 possessions in the third quarter to help the Wolves hang on for the win. Miner (10-4) stopped 27 shots for the Hawks, giving up goals or fewer for the 11th time in 14 postseason starts.
