New York Islanders re-sign forward Liam Foudy One-year, two-way contract through 2026-27 season.
Foudy, a pending restricted free agent, is the No. 2 player on the Bridgeport Islanders’ roster and has set career highs with 26 goals and 47 points in 60 games this season. He also appeared in one NHL game against New York and skated in the finals against Carolina on April 14.
A veteran of six professional seasons, Foudy was a first-round pick of Columbus in the 2018 NHL Draft and has totaled seven goals and 15 assists in 105 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets, Predators and Islanders. In 199 AHL games with Bridgeport, Milwaukee and Cleveland, Foudy had 66 goals and 77 assists for 143 points.
The Scarborough, Ont., native originally signed with the Islanders as a free agent on July 10, 2024.
