A rant about Kevin Hart turned into a hilarious rant about four-time NBA champion Draymond Green, and it definitely did not disappoint.
But that’s not to say he’s not coming. Ha ha.
NFL player Tom Brady kicked off the show minutes into the show and spoke to Draymond immediately after he finished talking about Hart.
“Draymond Green is here,” Brady said. “Yeah. Draymond is here. Right now. He’s probably going to be kicked out in the next 10 minutes. You know we’re not laughing at Steve Kerr, right?”
Green could be seen laughing, but minutes later he was attacked again by comic Sean Gillis, the event’s host.
“Draymond Green is here, give it up for Draymond,” Gillis began. “Yeah. Disgusting. Fuck him. Shhh.
“With a name like Draymond Green, there are only a few options for his life: professional athlete, pimp in a documentary or rich cartoon duck.”
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson also teased Greene’s name, telling him, “Maybe it’s time to retire.”
One of the funniest digs came from Jeff Rose, who made a perfect joke about Draymond’s longtime teammate Steph Curry.
“Steph Curry didn’t play tonight, but he did bring Draymond Green all the way here,” Rose said. “Love you, man. I’m not going to make fun of you for being violent. You’ve been evicted more times than a Kevin Hart DVD.”
It was finally Green’s turn to respond, taking on comedian and actress Chelsea Handler.
“I have never and will never crush Chelsea Handler,” he said. “I’m Draymond Green. I don’t shoot three-pointers.”
It’s safe to say that Draymond has had a pretty eventful few weeks following his heated debate with Charles Barkley.
