The Texas Stars defeated the Chicago Wolves 3-1 at home on Friday night to secure a spot in the 2026 Calder Cup playoffs.
The Stars will make their fifth straight playoff appearance. They have reached the Calder Cup finals three times in their history, including the 2018 championship season.
Texas is one of five teams in the Central Division to qualify for the Calder Cup Playoffs; the top three clubs will receive byes to the conference semifinals, while the fourth and fifth-place teams will play a best-of-three first-round series.
