Reign locked up 2026 Calder Cup playoff spot | TheAHL.com

The Ontario Reign secured a spot in the 2026 Calder Cup playoffs with a 3-2 victory over Tucson on Friday night.
Reign, in head coach's first season Andrew Lordwill be making his fifth consecutive Calder Cup playoff appearance and eighth in nine attempts since joining the AHL in 2015.
Currently, Ontario is ranked first in the Pacific Division and is competing for its first division title since the 2015-16 season. They will be one of seven teams from the Pacific Region to qualify for the Calder Cup Playoffs; the top-ranked team will receive a bye to the conference semifinals, while teams second through seventh will play a best-of-three first-round series.
