Kevin Durant burner account claim resurfaces with receipts

Kevin Durant is once again at the center of account-burning speculation, with social media claiming during the All-Star weekend that the Houston Rockets star may have used a private X account to criticize teammates. Although nothing has been confirmed, the allegations have sparked widespread debate in the NBA world.
Over the weekend, screenshots of an account believed to be operating under the handle “@gethigher77” began circulating online.

The account has since been made private and there is no concrete evidence linking it directly to Durant. Nonetheless, the posts were allegedly directed at several players related to Durant's past and present career.
The account is said to be targeting young Rockets players Jabari Smith Jr. and Alperen Sengun. Sengon was reportedly described as a liability due to shooting and defensive deficiencies, while Smith's scoring impact and defense were also questioned.
Other alleged comments extended beyond Houston, claiming Devin Booker was labeled a “dictator” who took credit for the win, while Kyrie Irving was portrayed as Durant “owing him something.”
None of these claims have been confirmed.
The situation gained further attention after Bill Simmons addressed the rumors on his podcast.
“[There are] “There's a lot of signs that it's him,” Simmons said, “and I'm guessing it's probably some smoke from the fire.” If all this is true and he's talking about the players he plays with… a social media scandal exposed someone's disparaging tweets/texts about people on his team that he then had to go play with. “

Durant’s history of burning accounts is well documented.
In 2017, while defending his move from Oklahoma City while playing for the Golden State Warriors, he accidentally tweeted from his verified account.
“He doesn't like the organization and doesn't like playing for Billy Donovan. His roster isn't that good, just him and Russ,” the tweet read.
