Phantoms player Kolosov named AHL Player of the Week TheAHL.com

Springfield, Massachusetts … American Hockey League announces Lehigh Valley Phantoms goaltender today Alexei Kolosov has been selected as Howies Hockey Video/AHL Player of the Week Period ending January 4, 2026.

In the two games he started for the Phantoms last week, Kolosov faced 61 shots and saved 60 of them, with a goals against average of 0.50 and a save percentage of 0.984.

Kolosov made 31 saves and Lehigh Valley shut out Hershey 3-0 on Wednesday night. He celebrated his 24th birthday on Sunday and made 29 shots in the Phantoms' 6-1 win over Toronto. Kolosov was selected as the starting star of the game in both games.

Kolosov, a third-round pick of Philadelphia in the 2021 NHL Draft, has made 18 appearances for Lehigh Valley this season with a 9-8-1 record, a 2.51 goals-against average, a 0.910 save percentage and two shutouts. He also played two games with the Flyers in the 2025-26 season. The native of Minsk, Belarus, has a 15-15-2 record with a 2.77 GAA and .899 save percentage in 32 career AHL games with the Phantoms and a 5-10-1 record in 19 NHL games with Philadelphia.
