New York Rangers reach agreement with goaltender Spencer Martin Two-year contract.
Martin began the 2025-26 season in the Kontinental Hockey League with CSKA Moscow, appearing in 14 games.
Last season, Martin played 31 times for the AHL Chicago Wolves, with a record of 20 wins, 8 draws and 2 losses, a goals against average of 2.34, a save percentage of 0.909, and three shutouts. He also played in nine NHL games with the Carolina Hurricanes.
In 245 career AHL games with Chicago, Abbotsford, Syracuse, Colorado and San Antonio, Martin has a 114-93-24 record, a 2.81 GAA, a .905 save percentage and 16 saves.
Martin was drafted by Colorado in the third round of the 2013 NHL Draft and has played in 66 career NHL games with the Avalanche, Canucks, Blue Jackets and Hurricanes, with a record of 24 wins, 30 draws and 8 losses, a GAA of 3.56, a save percentage of .883, and one shutout.
