Admirals player Murray named AHL Player of the WeekTheAHL.com

Springfield, Massachusetts …American Hockey League announces Milwaukee Admirals goalie today Matt Murray has been selected as Howies Hockey Video/AHL Player of the Week Period ending November 9, 2025.
Murray allowed one goal on 48 shots in the two games he started last week, with a goals-against average of 0.48 and a save percentage of 0.979.
Starting Friday night, Murray swept Rockford at home, helping the Admirals win 2-1 in overtime. Then in Saturday's rematch on the road, he stopped all 24 shots, his first shutout of the season, as the Admirals won 2-0.
Murray, a fourth-year pro from St. Albert, Alta., has a 5-0-2 record, 1.96 GAA and 0.931 save percentage in seven games for the Milwaukee Bucks this season. In 2024-25, he led the league in save percentage (.932) and wins (28) and was selected to the AHL All-Star Second Team and played in his first AHL All-Star Classic. In 121 career AHL games with Milwaukee and Texas, Murray has a record of 70-36-14, a 2.37 goals-against average, a .918 save percentage and 10 saves.
Originally signed as a free agent out of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he won a national championship in 2021, Murray has appeared in four career NHL games. He joined the Nashville Predators as a free agent on July 2, 2024.
