Mayhew returns to Wild | TheAHL.com

Iowa Wild have signed forward Gerry Mayhew Signed a one-year contract with the American Hockey League.
Mayhew returned to Iowa State where he became the Wild's all-time leader in goals with 97 and ranked third with 178 points. He scored 39 goals and 61 points in 49 games and won the 2019-20 AHL Most Valuable Player Les Cunningham Award.
In 445 career AHL games with Iowa State (2017-21), Lehigh Valley (2021-22), Charlotte (2022-24) and Rockford (2024-25), Mayhew has totaled 163 goals and 147 assists for 310 points. He also had 13 goals and four assists in 26 Calder Cup playoff games and participated in the 2020 AHL All-Star Classic.
Mayhew went undrafted out of Ferris State, debuted at Iowa on March 10, 2017, and signed with Minnesota on May 10, 2019. He played 57 NHL games with the Wild, Flyers and Ducks in his career, scoring a total of 13 goals and 2 assists.
