Islanders' Warren named AHL Player of the Week TheAHL.com

Springfield, Massachusetts … American Hockey League announced today Bridgeport Islanders defenseman Marshall Warren has been selected as Howies Hockey Video/AHL Player of the Week Period ending October 12, 2025.
Warren has two goals, two assists and a +4 rating in two games as the Islanders gain three of four points in the standings to start their 25th anniversary season.
Warren started his second professional season by assisting on the Islanders' first goal in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to Providence in the opener. Warren scored twice and added another assist to help Bridgeport beat Belleville 6-2 on Sunday afternoon.
Warren, a Long Island native, played 53 games for Bridgeport as a rookie in the 2024-25 season, contributing four goals and 13 assists. After playing at Boston College (2019-23) and the University of Michigan (2023-24), he signed an entry-level contract with the New York Islanders on April 16, 2024. Warren was originally a sixth-round draft pick out of Minnesota in 2019.
