Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant has been on a large number of talented rosters, but 15-time All-Stars show that the most prominent is the synchronization the group has already felt.
“How connected everyone is,” Durant said after practice Thursday. “The conversation is very open. No one feels about it when it's honestly true. I feel like they've always been a connected group. Especially Alpi and Twin (Amen Thompson), I feel like they're always on the same page like opponents. But, around them, it's more each other. Everyone is trying to feel each other. It's a good three days.”
This sense of connection is an idea Durant lacked in Phoenix last year.
His former teammate Devin Booker felt it too.
“It's not connected as we want,” Booker told local reporters last week. “I don't think anyone has problems off the field, we just don't have enough connection.”
The Rockets are expected to lock Durant into a new deal soon.
From the moment he was traded to Houston on the eve of Game 7 of the NBA Finals, it is widely believed that he will sign a two-year extension worth $100 million north.
“I did see myself signing an extension of the contract. I can't tell you exactly when it happened, but I did see it happening,” Durant said on Rockets Media Day.
NBA insider Brian Windhorst is convinced that KD will sign an extension with Houston.
“I’ve talked to Durant Camp, even beyond what Kevin said [at media day]very optimistic, they will reach an agreement. But it was a deal until an agreement was reached. ” Winkhorst said in the Basketball Collection podcast.
