LeBron James' Eyes to the Mavericks: Report

LeBron James stirred up a lot of offseason drama before eventually living with the Los Angeles Lakers.
According to John Hollinger sports.
“Especially about his whisper to Dallas' eyes, he could have worked with former teammates Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving and the young phenomenon Cooper Flagg before being ignored,” Hollinger reported.
“Obviously, James is reluctant to leave $52 million on the table to accept something like the non-Mavericks or another team. The acquisition seems equally impossible. In addition, tax aprons on both sides will challenge any seasonal deals against a contender-level team.”
The 40-year-old chose his $52 million player choice earlier this summer. His agent Rich Paul made a voice that sounded like a farewell to Los Angeles, which didn't help silence.
James and his campsite reportedly plan to monitor the Lakers’ offseason to see if their moves are in line with his winner’s mentality.
The Mavericks are mavericks with multiple former teammates and coaches of James' career and are seen as a potential landing point if a buyout becomes an option. However, with little cap space this summer, any deal is always complicated.
“This offseason, there isn't a lot of money, which will make it difficult for any team to try to act for him. But if he wants to continue playing after this season, then the teams in the next offseason should have more room for spending.”
For now, James is still with the Lakers, but his future beyond this season is open.
