Well, the NBA is today’s Disney reality movie after Damian Lillard announced his return to the Trail Blazers.
Dame agreed to sign a three-year, $42 million contract to return to Portland. The deal includes 2027-28 player options and no trade terms.
ESPN's Shams Charania reports: The family is an important factor in Lillard's decision to return to the Trail Blazers:
“Lillard will use the 2025-26 season to recover his injury, but according to sources, his family and children reside in the franchise and Portland’s return.

Lillard spent 11 seasons with the Trail Blazers and received seven All-Star games and seven All-NBA team honors.
He led Portland to the playoffs eight times in his career, including the 2018-19 Western Conference Finals.
He ranked first in scoring (19,376) and three-pointers (2,387) and first in assists (5,151).
