Pittsburgh penguins have been named Todd Nelson Assistant coach as a new head coach staff Dan Muse.
Nelson is one of the most successful coaches in the history of the American Hockey League. He has a record of 450-242-85 in 11 seasons (a Oklahoma City (2010-15), Grand Rapids (2015-18) and Hulsea (2022-25), and is fifth in the fifth time from the AHL AHL Hall of Fame after the Ahl Ahl Hall of Formand Forn time for Fivh Chore, and he has a record of 450-242-85 (a. Roy Sommer,,,,, Bread Chef,,,,, Frank Mathers and John Paddock. He has compiled nine 40-win seasons and won three division titles and won the AHL's outstanding coach in 2023-24, and after leading Hershey to the second best regular season record in league history, he won the AHL's outstanding coach.
In the playoffs, Nelson was one of only seven coaches in league history and won three Calder Cup titles, won the championship with Grand Rapids in 2017 and Hershey in 2023 and 2024. His 73 Cup season win match was good in Game 3.

Nelson previously served as head coach of the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL and served as an assistant to Edmonton, Atlanta and Dallas. He was among the star staff when they reached the Stanley Cup final in 2020.
