Stephen A. Smith says America and the World are the “last hope” of the All-Star Game

Stephen A. Smith didn't back down after Adam Silver's latest update on the new All-Star format for next season, thinking that the clock of this generation of NBA stars is taking the game seriously again.

“I think that's the last hope. If that doesn't work, I think you'll see the NBA canceling the All-Star Weekend, and this player era will be forever dirty for the rest of their lives because the All-Star Weekend is exiled for lack of effort.

The sentence goes into social media and Kevin Durant doesn't need a lot of words to express his thoughts. His reaction to X, “dramatic.”

Smith is not alone in sending an alert about the All-Star status. The league has been working hard, especially in recent years.

These issues are not new, but the indifference on display can’t be ignored, and Silver’s latest tweak could be the last attempt to fix it before abandoning the entire weekend, becoming a real option.

Elsewhere, SAS is mostly burning this week.

Michelle Beadle was uninstalled after news broke that he would enter her old Siriusxm Time Slot – a move she claimed she only learned from the Hollywood Trade Magazine story.

“I don't respect him. I don't respect his work. He doesn't like me. It goes back to something Rayres,” Biddle said, referring to Smith's notorious comment in 2014 that led to a pause. “He made some real easing comments in the air. She didn't stop there: “I think he's been getting wrong all the time. I'm not talking about opinions; those opinions can never be wrong. But in reality, it's hard to be right when you're so thin. Not a fan.”
