“Do you want some makeup?”

President Donald Trump may really feel sore about billionaire oligarch Elon Musk. And, it is getting trivial in the way you expect it to be.
Trump held a press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in the Oval Office at the White House on Thursday to ask the president about his new travel ban, conversations with Chinese President Xi Jinping, and the war between Russia and Ukraine. But it's a question about Musk that seems to make Trump the most animated, as Trump is always very comfortable discussing reality TV series, including the recent clash of Republican Budget Act.
Where is this guy today?

Musk has been posting a storm this week, imploring Americans to call on representatives and “kill the bill” because it did not cut enough spending, although it predicted it would cut $800 million and resulted in about 10 million people losing health insurance. Musk sent the chainsaw to the federal government as head of the governor, but was apparently frustrated that he could not cut cuts than the $150 billion he claimed.
A reporter asked Trump on Thursday whether Musk had a risk of failing his criticism of the so-called “beautiful big bill.” Trump said he liked Elon, “He didn't say anything to me,” he would rather see billionaires criticize him than bills. Trump mentioned that Musk's hand-selected draft pick for NASA administrators was withdrawn as nominee because he was a Democrat and suggested the move could be part of Musk's not very happy right now.
Private astronaut Jared Isaacman nominated to lead NASA to withdraw from the committee and was suddenly voted by the White House in the Senate the day after Musk’s “goodbye” press conference Friday in Musk.
“I can understand why he is not happy. Remember, he has been here for a long time. You are happy when you see a man standing behind an oval table.” Trump obviously refers to the decisive table.
Trump continues to mock Musk's dark eyes, and the billionaire says he gets what he says when he asks his 5-year-old son to slap him in the face:
Of course, Trump said in a May 30 press conference that he didn't even notice the dark eyes—those transparent lies Trump said were jokes about laughing at someone's face.

Trump went on to say he was “very disappointed” in Musk because he knew what was in the bill and said the Tesla CEO had only had problems because the legislation was a “authorization” of the “ruling.”
“He has no problem with that. Suddenly, he has a problem. He only has problems when he finds out we have to cut the EV mission, because it's billions of dollars,” Trump said.
In fact, while some states try to phase out gas-powered cars, there has never been a “authorization” for electric vehicles at the federal level, which has been resolved in different legislation from the Republicans, which they are trying to ban any future ban on cars with internal combustion engines. The so-called “big beauty bill” didn't solve any “tasks”, but the Senate passed a bill last month to stop states like California from trying to do so.
Trump said: “When it was cut, Congress wanted to cut it, he became a little different. I can understand. Trump went on to point out the praises Musk had previously praised the president. But he predicted that Musk might say something bad about Trump in the future.
“If you see his statement to me, I'm sure you can get the recording easily, which is very fresh, and he said the most beautiful thing about me,” Trump said. “And he didn't personally say bad things to me, but I'm sure it'll be the next one. But I'm very disappointed with Elon. I've helped Elon a lot.”

Trump continues to suggest that Musk may be so sad that he no longer works in the White House, that he is personally unhappy.
“A lot of good things happened in this room,” Trump said when referring to the Oval Office. “I'll tell you, not…he's not the first. People leave my administration, they love us. Then, at some point, they miss it so much. Some of them embraced it, and some of them actually became hostile.”
Of course, Trump is notorious for alienating people who work for him, but that comes down to being a narcissistic fascist who cares only about himself.
“I don't know what it is. I think they call it the dangerous syndrome of Trump. But we have other people, too. They left, they woke up in the morning, the charm disappeared. The whole world is different, and they become hostile. I don't know what it is.
Trump's former staff have published several books, including former national security adviser John Bolton, former deputy director of the FBI Andrew McCabe, and former chief of staff for Miles Taylor, the Department of Homeland Security. None of them liked, to say the least.

The budget bill has been passed by the U.S. House of Representatives, but needs to be passed by the Senate to sign as law. Given the challenges, Republicans have tried to obtain the bill by July 4, although the timeline is considered unrealistic. Whatever happens, the bill needs to be passed by August when the U.S. Treasury project hits the debt ceiling and defaults.
Thursday’s press conference also covered various topics involving Trump’s favorite complaints, including former President Joe Biden’s use of autonomous driving, a tool the president uses to sign documents. Trump is trying to claim it is “the biggest scandal in about 100 years.”
But when Trump can discuss the palace plot of the day, he is indeed home. When the world’s wealthiest people begin to throw away shadows on the most important legislation of the U.S. president, the American media landscape will inevitably begin to look like reality TV shows.
