T-Mobile also offers many discounted versions of the regular plan for customers over 55 years old. For those who want more features, data and some extras like getting a new phone every few years, T-Mobile's slightly discounted GO5G Plus 55 is worth a look.
Its GO5G Plus 55 plan is $75 per month for one row, $110 per month for two rows (scalable to three rows, $165 per month for four rows, $220 per month for four rows), and AutoPay is enabled. Note that the current discount makes the plan cost the same as the standard GO5G Plus plan, and if you use auto-sale, the plan costs less than the regular plan if you don't plan to use AutoPay. The plan includes the same benefits as T-Mobile's standard plan, such as up to 4K streaming, 4G LTE hotspot data and 15GB of high-speed data (depending on the region, it might be just 4G LTE in Mexico and Canada instead of 5G speeds). Plus, it includes subscriptions to Apple TV Plus and Netflix.
The program also allows subscribers to upgrade their phones every two years, which is the same votes launched by the standard GO5G Plus program. The only caveat is that plan owners need to pay off 50% of their existing phones when upgrading, but for most subscribers, that's not too much of a problem. Subscribers can also get the same discount on the device, converting from other carriers with T-Mobile for new customers.
Experiences beyond the 55-plus plan are expensive, with $85 per month for one line and $130 per month for two lines (also expandable up to four lines), but offer some additional features – most notably, subscribers can use new customer devices to offer each year instead of using new customer devices every two years to upgrade their phones. However, the program can also access Hulu using advertising, a 5-year price guarantee and satellite connectivity services outside the T-Mobile network.
Note that T-Mobile also offers the GO5G 55 plan, which is cheaper than the above, but offers less mobile hotspot data, less streaming services, and does not include a two-year phone upgrade. If you can live without a phone upgrade and want to save a few dollars a month, go for the GO5G 55 plan, $60 per month for one row and $90 per month for two rows, 15GB of hotspot data per month, and offers Netflix with ads.
Every T-Mobile 55+ program has a revitalization: Only customers who register for these programs need to be 55 years old or older, and no one in any other industry is suitable for this standard.
