LeBron James shares interesting theories about why Boston was eliminated

Lakers star Lebron James offers a unique view on why dominant champion Boston can't surpass the second round.

“Sometimes it seems sometimes they get bored sometimes – I don't want to say the process. Because I mean, s-t, they are their identity, when you look at (Jayson) Tatum and (Jaylen) Brown, it's year, year, year, they've played 10,000 hours,” Mind the game Podcast with Steve Nash.

“But sometimes, because of their greatness, they seem a little bored. Not only is it like an individual, but as a team, it sometimes looks like they are bored.”

In the same episode, Steve Nash and LeBron discuss how NBA media talk and criticize the game, and James doesn't like it.

Steve Nash: “I know a lot of players in our generation are criticizing the game. But I watched these playoff games and I like it. I love the NBA. I love the little battles, chess games, randomness, but principled. For me, the game is a beautiful place.”

LeBron James replied with, “I loved it growing up. But sometimes, the older generation makes you not want to love the game you grow up watching. Like, I grew up loving Knicks vs. Bulls playoff series. Pacers vs. Knicks. I loved that. And even though I never saw MJ live — I'm from a small town outside of Cleveland — when the Cavs got the chance to play him, that was exciting… but Now, that generation talks so much s*** about today's game, it makes you go back and watch those old games – it doesn't even want to appreciate them like you were a kid. Then someone pulled a cut in the final and laughed and said, if you want your movie, can we be honest?
