London underground subway network is outage

Transport authorities in the UK capital said several lines on London's underground network were suspended or interrupted due to power outages on Monday.
London's transport website shows at least three subway lines were suspended due to power failures and there were serious delays and partial suspensions on at least six lines during peak hours on Monday afternoon.
Transport authorities said it is working with the State Grid to determine the cause of the power outage.
“Several short circuits that were short-lived earlier this afternoon lost power due to a brief power outage in our network,” Claire Mann, TFL Chief Operating Officer, said in a statement.
“We are working to get the entire network running again as soon as possible,” she added.
State Grid said it had a “failure” on its transmission network in central London and was “resolved within seconds”.
Earlier, a London spokesman's transport company told PA news agency that the south London cut “a few minutes away” and caused the subway network to be disrupted.
British media reported that many stations in central London were completely closed. CBS News BBC News reported that Waterloo Station is one of the worst affected radio stations. There seems to be a problem with the London or TFL shipping website, as some travel advice pages are not loading.
Last month, a power outage caused by a fire in western London forced a shutdown Heathrow Airport – One of the busiest airports in the world – nearly a day, ruining thousands of flights. The power outage also reduced electricity to more than 16,000 homes in the area.
The government ordered an investigation into the country's “energy resilience” after the fire, which raised concerns about Britain's ability to withstand disasters or attack on critical infrastructure.
