Apple's M4 MacBook Air is re-launched at $150 discount

Those waiting for a lot of deals on Apple's latest M4 MacBook Air should check Amazon now. The online retailer’s new MacBook Air is priced at $150, down from $999 to $849, the best discount we’ve ever seen. Currently, the discount is only available on the Midnight Color option.
Please note that this price is available for entry-level models with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD. If you're willing to pay extra for more storage, the version with the 512GB SSD is also a $150 discount, $1,049. If you want more memory, the variant with 24GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is similarly discounted for $1,249. These two transactions also represent historical lows.

Apple only released the MacBook Air M4 in mid-March, and we've been naming it the best MacBook of 2025 ever since. We gave it 92 points in the comments, as it still packs out a precise (albeit 60hz) display and a great keyboard with a slim, sturdy building weighs 2.7 pounds and a 0.44 inches thick. However, it is the M4 chip that does make the air better. The 13-inch model has a 10-core CPU, an 8-core GPU, and a 16-core neuroengine, all of which are enough for most everyday tasks. Battery life is another advantage: the notebook lasted 18 hours while playing HD videos in our tests.
If you're looking for something bigger, it might be worth getting the 15-inch MacBook Air M4. Here's a $150 discount for several configurations, starting at $1,049 for 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD, and $1,449 for 24GB RAM and double storage. Again, each of these trades marks a new low. In addition to a larger display, the 15-inch MacBook Air has a larger trackpad and better speakers than its 13-inch counterpart.
