Israel attacks Yemen after Houthi attacks Tel Aviv airport

Israel said on Monday it retaliated against repeated attacks by Hotis, Yemen by hitting multiple targets belonging to the “Houthi terrorist regime.”

Israel said it hit the infrastructure at the Hadada port, a “central supply” of Iran-backed Hushis, and also hit the Bajil concrete plant east of the city.

The Israeli military said in a telegram that the port was used to transfer Iranian weapons and other military equipment.

It wrote that the plant is a “important” source of revenue for Huthis and also produces products used to manufacture underground tunnels and “terror infrastructure.”

Israeli news website YNET reported that the massive attacks were coordinated with the United States.

Houthi reported on the U.S. and Israeli attacks on Hudaydah Port and concrete plants, about 50 kilometers east of Hudaydah.

At least two people were killed and 42 injured during the U.S.-Israel strike against Bagir Cement Plant, Hushis's Ministry of Health said.

Witnesses told the DPA that violent explosions shocked the city and found smoke and flames rising from the Hudaydah port and the Bajil factory. They added that they heard ambulances rushing toward the factory.

The strike happened a day after Hotis was injured when he fired a ballistic missile at Ben Gurion International Airport outside Tel Aviv.

Since the Gaza conflict began in October 2023, Houthi militias have repeatedly attacked Israeli and international merchant ships in support of its ally Palestinian militant group Hamas.

Since the fall of a ceasefire, Israel's military resumed its attack on the Gaza Strip on March 18, Huthis has resumed regular launches of projectiles to Israel.
