Athens – Clark County police are investigating their fifth deadly crash this year.
Officers responded to a car accident Friday, involving two pedestrians, about 8:32 p.m., near Gaines School Road and Lexington Road.
A 58-year-old Athens pedestrian Amy Morgan died of injuries at the scene.
The second pedestrian, Anthony Braxton, 31, died of injuries in the hospital.

Lois Dua, 54, of Bogart, Georgia, was not injured.
Police charged Dua with second-degree vehicle homicide and charged two counts of pedestrians who failed to succumb to crosswalks.
