Checkers' Okuliar named AHL Player of the Week | theahl.com

Springfield, Massachusetts. …The American Hockey League announced Charlotte’s board forward today Oliver Okuliar Has been selected as Howies Hockey Tape/AHL Players of the Week During the period ending April 20, 2025.

Last week, Okuliar recorded three goals and four assists in three games, ranking second in the Atlantic Division, and see you in the first round of the playoffs.

In a match at Hartford on Wednesday night, Okuliar scored a pair of goals and assisted with another goal, giving Charlotte a 3-2 victory. He added goals and assists to a 4-2 victory at Springfield on Friday and beat the Thunderbirds 5-0 to beat the regular season to a 5-0 road, setting two more goals.

Okuliar scored 41 points in 69 games with 19 goals and 22 assists in his first regular season in North America, including 10 points in his last five games. A 24-year-old from Trenčín, Slovakia, signed with the Florida Panthers on April 13, 2024, and the last two signed with Mountfield HK, Czech Experfaliga, after four seasons in Europe.
