Cyclone Error shows “some signs of weakening” as “hard storm” spins in Western Australia

From Wednesday, April 16 to Thursday, April 17, Cyclone Errol showed “some signs of weakening” as it rotated the coast of Western Australia.

The Institute of Atmospheric Research (CIRA) collaborative research institute released this image on X, which was captured from UTC at 9 a.m. Wednesday (5 p.m. Wednesday AWS) at UTC (5 a.m. Thursday AWS).

“Hurricane Errol, while still a huge storm, showed some signs of weakening after developing a strong central eye,” the source wrote.
