Samsung stops a UI 7 in case of error locking the user on the phone

Samsung paused the global launch of a UI interface that is powered by its AI after error preventing some customers from unlocking their phones. The pause was marked by the frequent Samsung leaked ice universe, which appears to have affected the Samsung Galaxy S24 model, which was updated in South Korea. People who upgraded to a UI 7 (aka Android 15) reported that duplicate questions unlocked the phone.
Since then, the company has proposed updates in all galaxy models and regions, which may be a precautionary measure. Samsung told CNET that the software's “new timing and availability will be shared soon.”
Samsung added: “The Ane UI 7 launch schedule is being updated to ensure the best experience.”
Samsung began One UI 7 updates to Galaxy phones and tablets on April 7, starting with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. Other devices are expected to follow soon.
A UI 7 introduces a redesigned interface built around AI, providing people with more personalization and control. The software uses artificial intelligence to help edit videos, write messages and suggest going to dinner places.
The move is because tech companies compete to embed more AI capabilities into mobile devices, turning them into smarter personal assistants that can help with daily tasks.
