As Trump continues to march fascism, we take extreme precautions against us

According to a new report from the Financial Times, the European Commission has begun issuing burner phones and stripped laptops to visit staff in the United States due to concerns that visitors to the country have become a security risk. This is just the latest news that the slide of fascism under Donald Trump has had serious consequences for the U.S. status, and the president announced on Monday that he had failed to comply with the orders of the U.S. Supreme Court to mistakenly send a man back to prison in El Salvador.

Officials who spoke with the Financial Times said the new guide for EU employees traveling to the United States includes their advice to not bring personal phones, turn off burner phones when entering the country, and have “special sleeves” (presumably a Faraday cage) that prevents electronic snooping. U.S. border agents often confiscate phone calls and claim to be viewed through anyone’s personal device before entering the U.S.

Several reports say researchers refused to enter the U.S., including a French scientist who was reportedly stopped last month for criticizing Trump's text messages. Other travelers from countries such as Australia and Canada were reportedly detained in horrible conditions.

President Trump has been in office for less than three months but has managed to alienate all of America's closest allies. Sometimes this alienation occurs in the form of threats such as Canada, Greenland and Panama. At other times, it's more like a blanket “Fuck you” for American geopolitical allies. At the border, horror stories appear every day, as they try to enter the United States and have not been abused before Trump takes office again in January.

All this turmoil and uncertainty forced people to previously welcome American travel to rethink their plans. Given the rise of fascism, many Australian researchers believe that traveling to the United States will no longer be wise, which may harm one's own health and well-being. According to the Guardian, given the threat Trump posed to personal freedom, the Association for Scientific Social Research decided to turn its meeting into a mixed human-oriented and distant event. According to the Guardian, people are monitoring disabilities at the U.S. border, while border agents are checking for drugs, ostensibly whether they match a given disability.

The way Trump and Elon Musk are currently destroying the U.S. government is also involved in the calculations of their interactions with Americans by foreign researchers. Numerous research grants have been cancelled, and even for those willing to venture to the country, it is not necessary to go to the United States. As Reuters reported, even researchers with strong ties to the United States chose to seek work from other countries because the work is just drying.

It is also reported that people outside the United States have decided to look for vacation opportunities elsewhere, as the number of flights to the United States has declined from places such as Europe and Canada. The Wall Street Journal has a new report on Canadians selling their vacation homes in the United States because they are “fearing what could happen.”

The United States also attempts to expel people with a white nationalist plan to eliminate any dissenting countries. Several international students have been kidnapped by masked secret police in recent weeks, including Mahmoud Khalil and Rumeysa Ozturk, Pro-Palestine protesters, who are currently sitting in ice detention centers. Ozturk's only “crime” was writing an op-ed for a student newspaper against Israel's war on Gaza, where she was picked up from the street near her home outside Boston and flew to Louisiana. The Trump regime said it locked in Ozturk and was ready to expel her “anti-Semitism” and supported Hamas, but the Washington Post reported Sunday that a State Department investigation found she did not do so.

Trump held a press release at the White House on Monday with El Salvador President Nayib Bukele, where he made it clear that he would continue to transport those who did not commit any crimes to the torture prison in El Salvador. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled last week that the U.S. government needs to promote the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Maryland man who beats the wrongful allegation of being a member of the MS-13 gang, but the U.S. president made it clear that he has no plans to bring Garcia back.

Trump insisted that he could not tell Berkeley what to do, asking him to return to Garcia from Secot Prison in El Salvador, and Buckley was directly asked if he would do so. Buckley mistakenly accused Garcia of being a “terrorist” and said he would not return innocent people.

Collins: Can President Buckley weigh this? Are you planning to return to Garcia?

Buckley: How can I smuggle terrorists into the United States? Of course, I won't do that. This question is ridiculous

Trump also said on Monday that he wanted to deport U.S. citizens to El Salvador and insisted that he actually hopes Bucker builds five prisons in the United States where more people may disappear.

Given the history of frequent progress of fascist leaders, the United States is an extremely dangerous place in a country. The disappearance of American citizens faced by advocating the issue of speech considered protected in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Visitors in the United States have even fewer rights than Americans.

Given its decline, it makes sense for anyone with any choice to avoid traveling to the United States. With all the guardrails that have been ongoing for the past semester, it will be a very difficult situation in the days, weeks, months and years. Many people need to travel to the United States to fulfill their work or family obligations. However, it seems that anyone who can help it should avoid the country for the foreseeable future. Things will inevitably get worse and then get better.
