In November, the Brazilian federal police submitted an 884-page report detailing the plan. The Supreme Court will analyze the charges and if accepted, Bolsonaro will be tried.
Bolsonaro previously denied allegations
The former leader denied misconduct.
“I don't care about the allegations,” Bolsenro told reporters on a visit to the Senate in Brasilia earlier Tuesday.
He said: “Have you ever had any chance to see the coup decree? You don't. Neither do I.”
Bolsonaro's attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
