This AI bookmark may actually help you complete reading of books

Question: You won't read the physical book until it's finished. Solution? According to the two developers behind it, this is a bookmark that helps you receive wherever you leave. The AI-powered tag doesn't exist yet, but suddenly you can book with a goal: helping you remember what you just read.
Mark is the bookmark you put in the book when you finish reading mark Your location. Once you close the book, the gadget takes a major weightlift. It sends a summary of the page you just read to your smartphone and then fabricates a generalized summary based on the information already associated with that title. The idea is that when you go back to it later, your brain catches up with the bread crumbs left behind.

Mark hopes to address the frequent “dispersed” of those who feel their attention for $130, and the books they read are “underutilized”. Specifically, the product is for “Americans who prefer physical books rather than e-readers and tablets”, or at least that's what it claims in the manifesto.
“Just like Strava stays motivated to keep fit, Mark makes you inspired by reading,” Mark said. This refers to the social media element of bookmarks that lets your friends know that once you close the book, you'll make dents in your reading. Mark will measure your reading pace and summarize key topics as you progress. The “Tag Packaging” feature even tracks what you read, similar to services like Goodreads.
As I mentioned repeatedly, I am a millennial, which means I am a generation that I have obtained from school papers on a cliff. Ultimately, they were replaced by Wikipedia abstracts. I can't see Mark providing groundbreaking technology, especially since I'm not sure how it is done. While I appreciate the idea of falling into what I was reading before giving up on this story, the whole exercise reduces the responsibility of readers to track what they read.
I have a premise that I am an inconsistent reader. I switched to audiobooks because even a few weeks ago it was easier for me to pick up and grab the plot. But, $130 comes to pick up your last read on the left, which is a weird amount of something that doesn't perform other functions. It is much cheaper to buy a pack of stickers and interact with your reading instead of relying on a computer for heavy work.
If you're curious about Mark, you can sign up for a waitlist. I do this because I want to know what's going on here.
