Best Tower Fans of 2025

Lasko Wind Curve T42905 Oscillation Tower Fan
I love this Lasko Tower fan's smooth silhouette and wood grain accent. This is also the third Quit fan of my test, which measures a few decibels than Honeywell. Most importantly, it has Bluetooth, which allows you to control the oscillating fan through the app on your phone.
The problem is that, as far as remote control is concerned, the app is what you get. This is not ideal for shared spaces, as the fan can only be connected to one device at a time. In other words, if someone else pairs with the fan, your connection will be cut.
This may be forgiven if the app provides voice controls (such as voice controls) or the ability to set a custom schedule, but this is not the case. You can turn it on and off, turn the oscillation feature on and off, adjust the three speed settings, or start the sleep timer; the same controls you find on the fan itself. It does not require any permissions except Bluetooth access, and the app doesn't seem to provide a privacy policy at all. All of this makes this Lasko fan skip easily for $80.
Vornado V-Flow air circulation tower fan
The fan of the Vornado V-Flow Tower has a neat building that rotates the fan grille of the cylindrical base. It's one of the most beautiful tower fans I've ever tested, but it doesn't oscillate like a traditional tower fan. Instead, it relies on this twisty design to move a wider field of air throughout the room.
When I targeted it to my test it worked well enough in the test, but the coverage range was in those side angle variations, and the airflow was at lower or higher due to this diagonal grille. The bigger problem is that the Vornado V-Flow is the noisiest fan I've ever tested, with the highest speed of its three speeds ringing in 50 decibels from a distance of 30 inches. On top of that, my remote doesn't work properly, which echoes the frustration I've seen in user reviews of retailers who sell V-Flow. This is plus the lack of features outside of the usual sleep timer, let me say don't thank Vornado for the $70 price tag here (I might also skip it on sale). Sadly, Vornado's five-year warranty is the best of all the fans I've been looking for for this roundup, and is more than twice as good as your $550 Dyson TP04.
Amazon Basics Oscillation 3-speed Tower Fan
Amazon continues to sell more and more products under its Amazon base brand, today, including Tower fans. As the name suggests, this is not something that I like too much. Remote battery is not included, but you can get at least a few natural winds on top of a typical low-speed, medium-speed setting.
Unfortunately, I have had a disappointing experience with this fan. I stopped working shortly after I started testing and after a few steps between the rooms, the fan was disengaged from its fragile base. Although its 35-watt power draw is the lowest of any fans I've tested, the airflow is weak even at the highest settings. This tower fans are priced at $60, which is not worth it.
Unfortunately, most tower fans don't work well with smart plugs.
