LeBron James slams critics who question roster fit with Lakers

LeBron James waited 14 games to make his season debut and immediately responded to suggestions that he wouldn't fit into the Lakers' revamped lineup.
After Los Angeles' win over Utah, James made his stance clear.
“I said in training yesterday, I can blend in with anybody,” said James, who finished with 11 points and 12 assists after returning. “I don't even understand why that's a problem. What's wrong with these guys here? I can fit right in with anybody. So, just watching these guys, I missed their first 14 games, first 14 Field, just watching them and seeing, just, I'm just putting myself in the right position while I'm watching the game and understanding how to help the team and how to successfully help these guys, I'm still able to draw a lot of looks when I'm running the ball or running the ball, that's the thing, I've got a big guy underneath me. [Deandre Ayton] And down there is my guy Gabe. [Vincent]apparently right here, Jack [LaRavia]Our second team, we came out and pushed the lead, which was good. “
In addition to his health, James also talked about how his body feels after not playing basketball for seven months.
“The wind was a little rocky at first,” James said. “Obviously, that was to be expected. As the race went on, my wind got better, caught my second wind and caught my third wind. [My] The rhythm is still coming back and it's obviously the first game in nearly seven months, so everything that happens tonight is unexpected. I think the pace against a team like Utah, where they play at a high pace and run the ball and cut and stuff like that, obviously tested us and tested me. I’m excited to keep up with these guys. “
