Brazil's top prosecutor accused Bolsonaro of alleged coup in 2022 – State

Brazilian prosecutors filed a lawsuit against former President Jair Bolsonaro on Tuesday for attempting to serve during his term after the 2022 election defeat.

Prosecutor Paulo Gonet claims Bolsonaro and 33 people participated in a plan to continue to rule.

Last November, the federal police submitted an 884-page report and detailed the plan. They claimed it involved systematic sowing of distrust of the electoral system among the people, drafted a decree to make the plot legal veneer, forcing top military copper pipes to put pressure along with the plan and inciting riots in the capital.
