Air Canada said it will resume flights to Israel in June in June of the Israel-Hamas war.
With a fragile armistice, four direct round trips from Toronto to Tel Aviv will begin on June 8, the country's largest airline said in a trip update.
Another weekly return flight in Montreal will begin in August.
Air Canada said it had conducted “a wide range of security and security comments” including talks with government authorities and other airlines returning to Israeli airspace.
Two American airlines plan to resume services in the region, with United Airlines set to take off on March 15 and April 1.
Air Canada suspended flights to Israel after the war between Israel and Hamas broke out in October 2023, briefly resuming them last April before stopping them again after the Iranian attack.
