Ben Christman, a college football offensive winger, was transferred to UNLV and was found dead in his off-campus apartment, the school said in a statement Wednesday. He is 21 years old.

Christman recently transferred to college after playing for Kentucky and Ohio State. The school said it had no more details about his death, and the Clark County Coroner's Office in Nevada is working to determine the cause.

Christman spent two seasons at Ohio State before moving to Kentucky. According to CBS Sports, he succumbed to the 2023 season due to a knee injury and played for the special team in 2024.

Christman, from Akron, Ohio, played high school football at Revere High School. He is a four-star recruit who graduated from high school.
