Wolves lock up playoff spotTheAHL.com

The Chicago Wolves clinched a spot in the 2026 Calder Cup playoffs with a 3-2 overtime loss to the Milwaukee Bucks and Iowa State's 4-3 shootout loss to Rockford on Sunday night.

The Wolves will be seeking a fourth Calder Cup title, having previously won it in 2002, 2008 and 2022.

Chicago is one of five teams in the Central Division to qualify for the Calder Cup Playoffs; the top three clubs will receive byes to the conference semifinals, while the fourth and fifth-place teams will play a best-of-three first-round series.
