The Syracuse Crunch clinched a spot in the 2026 Calder Cup playoffs on Friday night.

The Crunch's 5-3 win over Rochester, combined with Utica's loss to Providence and Belleville's shootout loss to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, gave Syracuse its eighth straight playoff berth and 10th in 12 attempts since joining the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Crunch is one of five teams in the North Region to qualify for the Calder Cup playoffs. The top three clubs will receive a bye to the conference semifinals, while the fourth and fifth-place teams will play a best-of-three first-round series.
