Rockets secure playoff spot | TheAHL.com

The Laval Rocket secured a spot in the 2026 Calder Cup playoffs with a 5-1 victory over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Wednesday night at Bell Plaza.
The Rockets will make the playoffs for the fourth time in the last five years. They reached the Eastern Conference Finals in both 2022 and 2025.
Currently, Laval has a record of 38 wins, 19 draws, 2 draws and 3 losses (81 points), leading the North Division by six points as they compete for their second straight conference title.
The Rockets are one of five teams in the North Region to qualify for the Calder Cup Playoffs; the top three clubs will receive byes to the conference semifinals, while the fourth and fifth-place teams will play a best-of-three first-round series.
